Master Builders House Hotel
The Master Builders House Hotel located on the banks of the Beaulieu River with stunning views and is surrounded by the outstanding natural beauty of the New Forest. The hotel is situated on Lord Montagu's Beaulieu estate, in the village of Bucklers Hard. The hotel was formerly the home of Henry Adams, the Master Shipbuilder in 1750 when Bucklers Hard was a shipbuilding area. Nelson had some of his fleet built here that was used in the battle of Trafalger. There is a maritime museum in Bucklers Hard detailing the history of the village.
The hotel has 25 elegantly designed bedrooms, a comfortable lounge with a large Inglenook fireplace and a spectacular views of the Beaulieu River. The restaurant in contrast is contemporary in style, which is also reflected in the food. Dishes created by chef Denis Rhoden, use where possible local and organic ingredients and change in accordance with the season.
The hotel is ideally situated to explore the New Forest, cycling, sailing and walking can take place directly from the hotel. The attractive coastal town of Lymington is just 6 miles away which is full of small shops, bars and restaurants.
